Szechuan Restaurant (天府小馆) sits on Duarte Road in Monrovia, on the eastern edge of the San Gabriel Valley. It is a neighbourhood Sichuan kitchen with a long-standing following among the area's Sichuan diners. The kitchen works in the traditional Sichuan register — numbing, hot and aromatic, every dish in its own key — with home-style stir-fries alongside the classics.
